Genetic Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) Fee

The cost of one cycle of Genetic PGD at Bay IVF Center is $8,280. It is billed separately from the procedure to which it is added (see cost of In Vitro Fertilization, Egg Donation, and Gestational Surrogacy). Genetic PGD also requires additional specialized media preparation done prior to the PGD procedure ($875).

 

These costs represent only the laboratory portion of the treatment cost, as we do not bill for physician care at Bay IVF Center. Some or all of the Genetic PGD cost may be covered by your insurance.

 

We hope that the Genetic PGD fee at Bay IVF Center will maximize the affordability of Genetic PGD and the probability of a successful outcome.

 

Included in the cost of the Genetic PGD procedure is Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) fertilization of eggs, microsurgical removal of cell(s) from embryo(s), fixation of the removed cells, transport to a genetic laboratory, genetic analysis of the embryo(s), and extended embryo culture.

 

In rare circumstances, an additional laboratory fee of $3,600 is required for selected genetic disorders. We will inform you whether this test is necessary.

 

Bay IVF Center fees contain no hidden costs (facility fees, anesthesia fees, room fees, processing fees, etc.).

 

As a courtesy, if you have insurance coverage for reproductive treatments, we will assist you with all necessary insurance claims. You will only pay the portion of the fees that your insurance does not cover.
