Pregnancy Probability at Bay IVF Center

We treasure our babies (many of them are adults by now!) and would love for you to become a part of the ever-enlarging Bay IVF Center family.

 

The pregnancy success rates of North American IVF Centers are monitored by the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART). Since the Bay IVF Center team and its facilities practiced under the name of Nova In Vitro Fertilization until the spring of 2011, our success rates will be published under Bay IVF Center's name starting at the beginning of 2013 (SART waits until all babies from 2011 have been born).

 

Most patients can increase their cumulative pregnancy probability through more than one cycle of treatment. A treatment cycle represents completion of ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval and embryo transfer.

 

The following graph illustrates the increase in successful pregnancy probability if you decide to plan more than one cycle of treatment.

 

 

In this example, we used an arbitrary 35% successful pregnancy probability per treatment cycle. Your actual odds of pregnancy could be higher or lower.

The following tables show estimates of our historical, diagnosis-dependent probabilities of childbirth (one to four completed cycles of treatment). These probabilities assume that at least two embryos are transferred.  If only one embryo is transferred, the likelihood of childbirth will be between one half and two thirds of the probabilities shown. These probabilities do not include frozen embryo pregnancies.

 

Over the years, approximately two thirds of our pregnancies have been single baby pregnancies, approximately one third of our pregnancies have been twins, and we have had very few higher order pregnancies.
