Bay IVF Center Embryology Laboratory

The embryology laboratory represents the center point of any advanced reproductive treatments clinic. The single most important aspect of a successful reproductive medicine center is the expertise, dexterity, and integrity of the laboratory personnel: Gamete Embryologists. Physicians and patients must have complete trust in the work of Gamete Embryologists.

Eve Shen, one of the most senior embryologists in the country, heads the Bay IVF Center Laboratory. Ms. Shen helped develop the second oldest IVF center in the nation at University of Texas in Houston. In 1985 she was hired by Stanford University to build their IVF program. Ms. Shen then moved on to start the Nova IVF Clinic in 1987, and in 2011 she stayed on as a part of the Bay IVF Center team. Her expertise is balanced with sensitivity, compassion and love for her profession.

Ms. Shen's extensive training in human embryology has been finely tuned over the past three decades making her an expert embryologist. Besides her duties at Bay IVF Center, Ms. Shen is a national IVF Embryology Laboratory Inspector.

Bay IVF Center Laboratory holds the following licenses and certifications:
